Retail is cheering an 11% drop in crude like it means cheaper gas for the weekend.
You are completely misreading the tape.
Oil doesn't puke to $83 in 48 hours because of a localized supply glitch.
It violently reprices because institutional commodity desks are front-running a massive, synchronized global demand destruction event.
You are staring at Bitcoin at $63379 hoping for a breakout while the absolute leading indicator of global growth just triggered a recessionary circuit breaker.
Wall Street isn't just dumping barrels. They are liquidating the underlying economy.
The math doesn't care about your feelings. Save this receipt for when the panic starts.

I do not deny the reality. But it is a glaring example of our under developed state and hence it is discomforting when privileged guys consider it to be a flex and something to be proud off. It is the very reason why many more are moving abroad. Because no matter what work they do, they can live a life of dignity.
@RajalingamVivek DONT EVER DO A ULIP.
take a term plan for life insurance.
Use a mutual fund or ETF (nifty 50, gold and silver etc) for investment exposure.
Brokers such as Zerodha could be a good place for etfs and direct funds.
Do people actually use https://t.co/DvXuBeeBmg to book flights? And has anyone else experienced these kinds of dark patterns?
I recently tried to change a flight to a later date. Every attempt to rebook through https://t.co/DvXuBeeBmg failed at the payment page. After several failed attempts, I contacted support, which was handled by GoToGate.
I was explicitly told there was a technical issue, that it would be fixed within a few hours, and that I should not try to rebook myself but instead contact them once the issue was resolved.
A few hours later, when I got back in touch, the price had suddenly increased by nearly 50%.
The explanation? "The airline raised the fare."
That raises an obvious question. If there really was a technical issue preventing customers from completing a booking, why should customers be penalized for it? And if the airline did not raise the fare, why is the blame being shifted to them?
@LOTPLAirlines, I hope you take note of this. If these price increases were not initiated by you, then GoToGate is damaging your reputation by using the airline as a convenient excuse. And if this is how the system is intended to work, then customers deserve to know that too.
I have always heard positive things about LOT. Experiences like this make it very difficult to know who is actually responsible.
Has anyone else faced something similar with https://t.co/DvXuBeeBmg or GoToGate?
A chaiwala becomes insanely powerful and hallucinates that India is a vishwaguru coz his life, suddenly, has become luxurious and an illiterate majority has started worshipping him. His sycophants start showing laser eyes and deal arrogantly with the first world countries knowing very well their kids are settled there and do not have to deal with the fall outs of their action.
Do you believe such a lot will "acknowledge" THE problem?

Well the worst is yet to come. The government's lapdogs have already started campaigning about gold sitting in Indian households and temples needs to be monetized to fund the infrastructure growth. Demonetisation 2.0 is in the works. Gold will be taken from temples and households to finance India's infrastructure. Offcourse Adani is the only entity with the expertise to do this.
We're entering the third wave of Indian internet.
The first wave built the infrastructure - Flipkart proved e-commerce, InMobi proved mobile advertising, Freshworks proved Indian SaaS could go global.
The second wave built the consumer habits - Zomato, Swiggy, Paytm, Zepto made a generation comfortable spending on their phones.
The third wave is being built right now by the people who learned from both, and are starting companies in the places neither wave touched.

Jeg var nylig gjest i podcasten Påkobla https://t.co/k9GUieF2Ys hvor jeg deler mer om det vi nå har lansert innen hverdagslunsj i Lillestrøm.
Norwegian startup @foodfeapp (https://t.co/F5u7xaJh50) is trying to create local hubs so that they can aggregate demand for freshly prepared finished meals that can be fulfilled by local cafes/restaurants. They will prepare fresh meals everyday that will be pre ordered through the foodfe app. Meals will be typically prices between 85 - 175 NOK. As the demand numbers go up the meal prices will go lower.
@MarlinPrimChris is running a pilot program with Foodfe through her Grønn Oase Kafé in Lillestrøm.
@REDBOXINDIA I had my own experience where they forced me to purchase their print out of the appointment booking page which was literally not used anywhere. With their shady practices they make the embassies look bad.
I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this but Altman is right here, that's the right way of seeing AI models: AI is a general purpose technology and models will end up being a utility like electricity.
In fact I'm somewhat surprised he's admitting to this because it makes companies like OpenAI or Anthropic a lot less valuable: it means they'll become mere commodities, much like telecom companies or electricity providers are.
The real value will lie in the application layer - what you actually DO with AI - as opposed to the models themselves. Much like the real valuable companies enabled by the internet weren't the telecom companies but businesses like Google, Amazon or Alibaba.
I actually wrote a whole article explaining exactly this last month titled "There is no AI race": https://t.co/48ifTX1YsD
@HelleLyngSvends What a way to show the world that India is a pseudo-democracy.
Earlier, he avoided interviews out of fear of tough questions from the press. Now there’s a new fear factor that’s been unlocked: Comedians!
@mysticfurtive@ActusDei 💯. For the last 12 years they got away with manipulating numbers, changing calculation methodologies, fudging data and hid behind propaganda. It is all unravelling very fast now.
USD-INR is now officially the worst performing currency in entire World.
The rupee didn’t collapse overnight — it was slowly buried under a decade of headlines, hate campaigns and hollow economics.
