MEANING: Mason will be #2 on the depth chart for trade value so long as he remains on the team. Treating him as a vetted QB that doesn't need to prove himself adds to that value.

@LeadingReport Smarter to put it in a fund that they receive when they turn 18 and have a diploma. They would graduate with $20k.

Additionally, the schools could put the money in bonds or something and whatever money is made off the investment, the schools can keep and use for themselves.

Will Howard never got to play last year. Also, the Steelers office has changed substantially. What it was 8 months ago is entirely different than it is today. First and foremost, a QB centric coach. Will Howard went before Drew Allar last week for a reason. They may switch that this week. The results of that move could speak volumes and that's exponentially more true come next week.

It absolutely can. If Mason/Drew/Will comes out and throws an INT or fumbles or just plays horrible - it can change a lot right now. The Steelers QB room is an absolute fight for the future of the franchise. If Rodgers goes out early in the season, Mason will not be the starter for more than 1 game.

@jgcrawfish @anthonyghalkias Worst case scenario, we find out what we have in the rookies. If it's bad, we get a decent draft pick. If it's even remotely good, we have a future.

If it's Mason Rudolph, we go 9-8 and end the season learning nothing.

It took more than 15 refreshes to get a post to the top that was different. I've never had that happen before.
