Congrats to Rocket Lab who just completed a satellite deployment in 16 hours and 42 minutes from the moment the Space Force picked up the phone. For context: it takes 14 hours to fly nonstop from New York to Singapore. Rocket Lab put a satellite in orbit faster than a commercial flight crosses the Pacific. Ethan Williams was a visitor to our city when he was "randomly" murdered by a career criminal in October 2020. The NYPD worked for two years to find his killer, and the DA prosecuted it eptly enough. But no governor, mayor, state lawmaker, or city council member ever reached out to say, you know, we're sorry for your loss, can we help you with anything? The family has been patient and gracious to New York, considering that New York has behaved indifferently.
