If only this game ran well on the ps5 pro i’d play it more however its absolutely atrocious. Like its fine you can get 60-70fps with good image quality but ad soon as there is more than like 5+ enemies on screen the fps drops especially when it comes to particle effects. Its a shame but oh well

And guess what bud most people dont get 60fps at 4k native without reconstruction and dlss/fsr while using ray tracing. For gods sake can people just stop lying to them selved and admit that the ps5 pro is a great system sure the price hike is kinda shitty but u aint building a pc with similar performance at that price even if you go used parts sure more fps right low settings etc but ur losing out on picture quality and plus you’d be losing out on image quality and features which requires the latest hardware . “ WHICH IS EXPENSIVE”!! . So yh ps5 pro amazing price to performance simple. If only people actually played games and stopped bitching about whos system is better for gods sake.

But that also means better hardware so idk man the ps5 pro is already a good console i cant imagine the ps6 having like a zen 4 cpu with like a rdna 4.5 gpu that does path tracing etc( just an example) and that being like $600 like i just dont see that to be the case if anything i think gaming will just progressively get more expensice as hardware gets better

Then howcome first party games of similar scale have no issues and run flawlessly? Ill tell u why cos of generic coding its that simple most multi platform games rely on brute forcing . And for the most part alot of devs are just lazy. So no the cpu is enough if devs take cautious performance optimization into consideration. Think of the crowcaller fight in crimson desert on ps5/pro heavy fps drops to10-20fps after optimization no more drops without changing effects detail or graphics in general all they probs did is made sure that the engine sends efficient data to the cpu so lets say they would do that for the entire game counting each and every corner and crevice they could achieve a very stable high fps but since its multiplatform and pearl abyys cares more about pc thats never gonna happen. So yh its way more complicated than just” oh ita a zen 2 CPU” most of the time that does not even matter.

That is however true if you have the best of the best u are mostly brute forcing performance. For the most part it solely depends on how good devs engine is and how well and efficiently it sends data to the cpu. However if its some type of generic coding then performance is usually lower

@TheProfessorZ @dailyhubranx No but pssr2 is much better than fsr and close to dlss i have a i7 10700k rx 6800 pc and a ps5 pro and every game just looks and runs better on the pro . And if i want a better experience than that you would need to pay between 1500-2000 pc is just too expensive.

@JavaidUsama Oh yh yep with a ryzen 5 5500 and only a 1tb ssd great the gpu in a ps5 pro is still better than that on average by a couple percent plus it has pssr2 which already looks better than fsr4 and close enough to dlss 4.5 so idk what u been smoking but okay

Im so goddamn pissed off got to the crow fight on crimson desert ps5 pro and cant even flipping play the game anymore cos its dropping to 10-20 fps this game just keeps pissing me off especially when it comes to the horrendous optimization
