I never fully understood Isaiah 60:22 until seasons made me question God’s timing. “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” I used to think every delay meant God had forgotten me, every closed door was a “no,” and every unanswered prayer was silence. But looking back, He wasn’t ignoring me. He was preparing me. Some blessings can’t be rushed, and miracles happen only when our hearts are ready. God’s timing isn’t slow; it’s intentional. So if you’re waiting today, don’t give up. Keep praying, believing, and trusting, even when you can’t see what He’s doing. Miracles happen every day, and God can change your life in a moment. What feels delayed may simply be Him aligning everything at the perfect time.
Whether you’re in a relationship or single, never stop building a life you genuinely enjoy. Pour into yourself. Spend time with people who love you. Stay close to God. Create a life that still feels full, with or without a partner.
It's so selfish to enter someone's life, see that they're a loving, cheerful, and good person, and decide to ruin their peace because you haven't dealt with your own issues. Leave people alone if you have no intention of showing up with sincerity.
I think we’d all be happier if we borrowed a few habits from our grandmothers. Read more. Bake more. Rest more. Worry less. Slower days, a softer life.
