Getting old and running is so interesting like what body part is going to hurt today #running #training

[John Cullen @cullenoncurling]

Krista Scharf is back. Reports of her retirement were greatly exaggerated, it seems. Team Despins out of Thunder Bay announcing on IG that Krista will be their new skip after an injury forced Nicole Westlund Stewart out of regular play for the season.

A really tough one tonight. Nothing comes easy at this level. We have so much respect for this game, and we’ll regroup and keep fighting for Canada.

@cullenoncurling Agreed!! So much on the line. Understand the story of finishing #1

[Rebecca Carr @therealsmeagss]

@WestJet sent me an email giving stating a one day delay but when I phoned in for help and possibly different flight options I was informed we could still make a connection at Pearson. So an email says we won’t make the connection but every service agent and support says diff.

@fasselin94 Not even a second of hesitation from her.

The trending topic for women in sports is pregnancy. First Curling Canada and now the Boston Marathon.

[The Washington Post @washingtonpost]

Fiona English took to the internet when she became pregnant and her request to defer her entry into the Boston Marathon was denied. https://t.co/QFFFy20zVt

[Dawn McEwen OLY @02ginger]

Timing a pregnancy can be stressful and difficult for a lot of women athletes. A rule that discriminates against some women competing in the same national field is troubling. Please give everyone the same opportunity @CurlingCanada

Doctors say Damar Hamlin asked via writing who won the game on Monday night.

The doctors response: "You won. You won life."

@j9gorman The moral here is never give up I guess haha.

On top of it all, this is Take Your Kids to Work Day. So some Grade 9 kids got to witness a very unusual day at Queens Park

The only thing spooky for parents this Halloween is which virus their child is bringing home from daycare. #Halloween

Happy one month to my squish that keeps me up all hours of the day screaming. Your smiles are worth it 💕

Marked my one month post partum with a return to the rink #imback #curling #

I’ve done this thousands of times, but this one feels different. Thank you to everybody who’s coming tonight.
