@Bklyn929@eyyankees The city is united because unlike the other three sports there really is no other team. It’s 90/10 Knicks, no one cares about the Nets whether they’re good or not. NBA Finals, Durant/Harden/Kyrie, doesn’t matter, it’s always about the Knicks here.
@Bklyn929 There will be no hope until they get the QB. If there is anything positive to take away in 2026 it’s that they finally started to build the team before the QB, and whoever that guy may be will have a higher chance for success rather than be set up for failure like we usually do.
@Bklyn929 Short-term deal for a young player while they have a ton of cap space. Worth keeping his talent on the roster, especially for a presumed rookie QB next year. This contract won’t make or break the team either way.
@Bklyn929@paffdaddy9@JakeAsmanShow@JakeAsman It’s all about the destination. If they built such a good foundation offensively like people are saying after this draft then a QB drafted outside of the top 5 can be elite (Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Herbert, etc.).
@NDS1089 While he was obviously not ready and we all seriously doubt this coaching staff to develop any young QB, it’s very interesting that in hindsight he would have been drafted with two solid weapons in his teammate Sadiq as well as Cooper.
