@wiens_simo44097 I like the mechanics of the coin. I think it’s lacking the volume and liquidity to be successful, but the product looks good.
It’s a long shot bet, but if it works then returns are crazy good. If not, oh well.
Charlie Munger: “The reason we get into such idiocy in investment management is best illustrated by a story that I tell about the guy who sold fish tackle.
I asked him ‘My god, they are purple and green. Do fish really take these lures?’ And he said ‘Mister, I don’t sell to fish’”
Partial disagree.
Call it shmantics, but "holding X" is just another name for Value Investing. Doesn't matter if X is a "memecoin" or "the next big store of value" (Bitcoin was the first crypto memecoin).
Value investing is never gonna go away. But...
memecoins are pretty much dead.
you are NOT going to make multi-million dollars holding memecoins.
holders just are'nt the same as they were 5 years ago, nobody is willing to hold such a fat uPNL for months, therefore the ceilings on our memes are EXTREMELY lower than they were in previous cycles.
this cycle will be the cycle of ai innovation and tech coins, position accordingly.
Are memes less desirable to hold? I actually don't think so, just look at the new "utility" unlocked by pairing with Stocks! If anything, it's gonna give more legitimacy to good memes.
But there's more people in the arena, so it's a number and perception game.
3) Hooks are all the rage right now, because they enable cool stuff. SHROOM is partnering with
@whatthehookv4
to make its pools more efficient, so more fees to compound.
@whatthehookv4 And hate to say it, but we’re still early. This isn’t going to be an overnight pump (well it kinda was already), but a slow grind up (months, maybe years?).
1) It seeded a treasury that pairs the token with stocks, and in a way that invites flows to go through those pairs.
I’m a believer that on-chain stock trading is here to stay, which means that we should always expect volumes with SHROOM!
