Ukraine’s positions are stronger now than in previous years. Since the beginning of the year, 590 square kilometers of our territory have been liberated and brought under Ukrainian control. The trend is certainly not in the occupier’s favor. We continue to increase the rate at which Russian personnel are being eliminated, and together with sanctions in all their forms, this is forcing Russia toward diplomacy.
Her name is Sonam Raghuvanshi.
She was 25 years old, from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Her family ran a furniture business.
She had been in a relationship with Raj Kushwaha, a 19 year old who worked as an accountant at that same business.
Her parents did not approve. They arranged her marriage to Raja Raghuvanshi, a 29 year old transport businessman from Indore.
The wedding took place on May 11 2025.
Ten days later Sonam and Raja left for their honeymoon in Meghalaya. Raj stayed behind in Indore.
He had been planning Raja’s murder since eleven days before the wedding.
He recruited three men. They tried to kill Raja three times. Each attempt failed.
On May 23 2025 Raja and Sonam checked out of a homestay in Nongriat village near Sohra.
Hours later both were reported missing. A search operation was launched across three states.
On June 2 Raja’s body was found in a gorge near the Wei Sawdong waterfall. He had sustained severe head injuries caused by a blunt object.
Sonam was also reported missing. She had returned to Indore after the murder and stayed in a rented flat for three days.
When the three hired men were arrested in overnight raids, she surrendered to Uttar Pradesh Police in Ghazipur on June 8.
All five accused were arrested. Meghalaya Police filed a 790 page chargesheet in September 2025 naming Sonam, Raj and the three men who carried out the killing.
Sonam has since been granted bail. The trial is ongoing.
Raja’s family cut out Sonam’s photograph from their wedding poster after her arrest.
He married her on May 11. He was dead by May 23.
Repost this. Some stories must not be allowed to disappear.

Pooja Bedi got married to Farhan Furniturewala who had a conservative muslim family and they didn't allow Pooja Bedi to continue to work in films.
In 1974, her mother Protima Bedi ran naked ran naked on Juhu Beach (for a newly launched Cine Blitz magazine) to liberate women.
But she couldn't liberate her daughter from the clutches of a conservative muslim family.

Let us begin fixing the system and democracy with these simple steps.
@homam108 I think you are spot on. I knew someone who would fast without water and recite stotras million times to get the intended result. Mostly he said it worked but the after effects of the results were bad so he learned to pray and let it play out as it was intended.
I’ve long maintained that Hinduism is plural and respects all paths to the divine. But that openness cannot be a one-way street. Institutionalised proselytisation aimed at altering demographics must be firmly checked. And temple revenues must serve the preservation and advancement of Sanatana. Without these actions, everything else will remain fleeting outrage.
I need you to sit with this for a moment:
In 1971, Pakistani soldiers went into Bengali villages and asked one question:
"Where do the Hindus live?"
Then they went there.
200,000 to 400,000 women were raped. Systematically. As a weapon.
The perpetrators weren't just soldiers — they were Jamaat-e-Islami militants. A Muslim Brotherhood affiliate.
I've spent years documenting what political Islam does when it has power.
This is what it does when it has power.
🇧🇩 The 1971 Bangladesh genocide has never been recognized by the US or UK.
Say their names. Break the silence.
His name was Captain Vikram Batra.
24 years old. From Palampur in Himachal Pradesh. Son of a school principal and a school teacher.
He could have joined the Merchant Navy. High salary. Stable life. He turned it down and chose the Indian Army instead.
In 1995 at Punjab University in Chandigarh, he met a girl named Dimple Cheema. They fell in love. Her family disapproved. She stayed.
He left for the Indian Military Academy. Then, for postings far away. They stayed together through letters and phone calls and stolen weekends.
Once at a gurudwara, he walked behind her holding the edge of her dupatta through four rounds of parikrama.
When she turned around, he smiled and said congratulations Mrs Batra. Did you not realise we just completed four rounds together.
That was his proposal.
Before leaving for Kargil in 1999, he wrote in his diary.
Either I will come back after hoisting the tricolour, or I will come back wrapped in it. But I will come back for sure.
In June 1999, he captured Point 5140 from Pakistani forces. His war cry echoed across the mountains. Yeh Dil Maange More.
On July 7 1999, he went back up for Point 4875. A fellow officer was injured and lying exposed to enemy fire. Vikram went forward to pull him back.
He was shot.
He was 24 years old.
Dimple never married.
She lives in Chandigarh and teaches in a school. She has said this.
Not a single day in the past 25 years have I felt detached from him. It feels as if he is away on a posting. I know we will meet again. It is just a matter of time.
He got 24 years.
She gave him the rest of her life.
Remember both names.

The best part that I liked about #Dhurandhar2TheRevenge is the life of a spy who has no home in a way. He has no world other than spy world. @AdityaDharFilms and @RanveerOfficial portrayed it so well. He is so close to his home yet far. The world he left behind is far away. Ty
