@BenPBradshaw Glad my MP @cmackinlay voted to prevent this. Every time it rains at the moment our beaches are closed after. It's ridiculous that this is happening.
@margatescud You didn't too badly, we were on the SUP (for the first time) and the kayak on what was a great evening paddle. I was impressed by the number of children in that scout group. Good to see them out as well enjoying themselves.
@SkyNewsBreak I'm confused as to why people are confused. Essential workers don't necessarily have to isolate as they are essential workers. Yes they may pass it on but instead of everyone having the chance of passing it on, only a smaller group therefore less overall chance of spreading virus
A stricken seal has been rescued from the banks of the River Stour at Plucks Gutter between #Canterbury and #Ramsgate.
Walkers alerted Christopher, a volunteer from the @BDMLR, who carried it on his back to safety where vets could treat it.
It was later released safely.
Seals leave behind tracks too๐ฃ

Seems I've lost my @duolingo streak of around two years and yet I had a streak freeze and monthly streak freeze is still available. It's always tricky around this time of year to get on every day but not sure why they haven't kept my streak. Duolingo bird, what happened?
We await further detail about how we can safely resume league hockey with Clubs in tiers 2 and 3.

@DrDavidBoyce A fantastic story. Thanks for sharing his story. I suspect he was a company sergeant major rather than chief. There are so many amazing stories of acts of selflessness that appear at this time of year.
JOB ALERT: #veteranjob
Forces Farming have been discussing with @crawfordsmachinery about these 2 roles at their branch in the south east.
Please read the details in each advert and consider if you have the right skills and attitude to make a difference. Please RT #veteran
Wow, just checked my watch to see what my sleep pattern was like that night. Obviously huge chunks awake and active as I was on alert for his return then post capture a huge episode of deep sleep. Much longer than normal. You can see my heart rate increase at time of capture too!
Caught this cheeky fellow a couple of nights ago trying to get into my duck house. Unfortunately after disturbing him 3 times that night on the fourth attempt he got in and killed my littlest duck. The others alerted me and I managed to trap him. First attack in over 4 years.
I'm glad I did the "right" thing. I think if the ducks were my livelihood it would be different but I guess over the years we had tempted fate. Looking at all the nights we suddenly realised they were still out and quickly got them in or we heard our dog barking at something.
