"Since Destiny 2 won't get anymore updates, there's no reason to play the game anymore".
Oh, so you have every God roll? Every weapon craftable? Every raid and dungeon triumph done?
Yeah, that's what I thought.

“Could I do more?”
You all have done more for this game and our studio than could ever be imagined, and no words can accurately depict how lucky we are to have shared these worlds with you.
Don’t blame yourselves or think you could have / should have done more. This is just the way it goes sometimes.
No matter the future, we will always have these memories.
Thank you. For everything.

While we're updating our New and Returning Player Guide with the latest changes for Monument of Triumph's launch next week, what questions can we answer now for Guardians returning to Destiny 2 that are getting ready for the update and looking to find their footing faster?
After lots of thought and requests to return, I will in fact be coming back to Destiny 2 to play its final content drop on June 9th, Monuments of Triumph.
I realize now that I should see it through to the very end, especially after the thousands of hours I've poured into it.
@Ahvora_ Vora, I honestly have to say that I don't know if I'll be returning, even for the update. I love this game too much to get reattached and be disappointed again. I've been there for every high and every low, but this is a new feeling. But I do hope you enjoy this final update 💛
🚨NEW: Former Bungie chief legal officer says Destiny 2’s live-service end shows the studio is becoming what he "feared" after Sony acquisition, "a publishing imprint," not a "builder of worlds": "I wish I could have done more to keep it alive"

I think this is the angriest I've been about something in my life. This was a completely avoidable situation and it's fucking embarrassing how this was handled for years.
Doesn't matter how many times we screamed from the rooftops begging for our favorite community game not to be ruined, all to be ignored by a small group of executives/higher ups who could give less of a shit, as long as they get to cash out their vested sony acquisition shares for MILLIONS upon MILLIONS. Hope it was worth it fuckfaces
