The Corporation for Public Broadcasting receives roughly $1.60 per American per year—less than the cost of a cup of coffee—to support education, local reporting, cultural programming, and emergency communications across thousands of rural communities.

What Greene is calling for isn’t fiscal responsibility. It’s ideological retaliation. She’s targeting journalism that doesn’t serve her narrative, and trying to punish the press for doing its job: holding power accountable.
