Encoders can agree all day long and the shaft will still wind up under load that’s basic torsion, not a control issue. don’t solve that with dual servos unless you’re running a torsionally rigid coupling w/ active load sharing
@RGomezGome814@Texas_TeeJ@ElonMusky_Fish@ClownWorld That setup would never work the way you think. Dual-end keyed shafts with independent servos introduce phase drift under load unless you’re running a closed-loop harmonic sync, and a Raspberry Pi can’t handle that level of real-time correction.

The springs are mostly there for lateral stabilization and vibration damping. The real lifting force comes from the opener’s torque converter.
