The plan is greater Israel by any means necessary. That’s it. There is no other 12D chess going on here. The war is destroying the petrodollar, they don’t give a fuck. It’s not part of some deep strategy involving energy resources, it strengthens China immensely. They don’t care. They will burn everything to the ground to try to get greater Israel.
It was a common error in analysis to treat the Iraq war as “stupid” or “a mistake.” Paul Bremer dismissing the Iraqi army, obliterating the state through De-Ba'athification, creating the insurgency. It doesn’t make any sense as a strategy unless you understand that the war was for Israel.
The Iraqi state had to be pulverized so it could never again threaten Israel. Iraqi academics, engineers, specialists of all kinds had to be killed or chased out in terror. Then ditto in Libya, ditto in Syria. The only plan is to try to do that to Iran.
None of this was “a mistake.” None of it was “stupid.” The actual goals were just different from the justifications presented for public consumption.
The Israel lobby is immensely powerful but a war with Iran was always the one thing they couldn’t get. U.S. state planners since the Iranian revolution have understood what closure of the strait of Hormuz would mean. It is apocalyptic for the maintenance of the petrodollar that the U.S. empire depends on.
The lobby has been working our government for decades now. They’ve finally got a president blackmailed enough and a deep state zogged enough that the initial start of the war could go forward. Now they’re riding on the back of a tiger.
The cost of living crisis is coming home. They have to keep the war going over what will be increasing civil unrest. Eventually they’re going to push Trump into doubling down. The goal is to go nuclear. That’s what they think is the way out. Nuking Iran.
This is genocidal madness. It’s why everyone in Congress needs to be held accountable for not funding a single dollar for this illegal war. It’s why the anti war movement in this country needs to wake up and recognize that we are in a crisis moment. Our passivity will be taken by the ruling class as permission to do the unthinkable.
Amal Khalil, a Lebanese journalist, was targeted today by the IDF in South Lebanon, together with other colleagues. Two were killed, one injured and Amal is still under the rubble. The Red Cross tried to extract her but they were targeted too by the Israelis and had to retreat.
UNICEF is outraged by the killing of two drivers of trucks contracted by UNICEF to provide clean water to families in the Gaza Strip.
The victims were killed by Israeli fire in an incident that took place early this morning at the Mansoura water filling point in northern Gaza. UNICEF extends our condolences to the families of the men killed.

Our daughter, Rachel Corrie, was killed in 2003 in Gaza, while trying to protect a Palestinian home facing illegal destruction by the Israeli military. She was 23 years old. The massive, armored Caterpillar D-9 bulldozer that crushed her was operated by two Israeli soldiers and manufactured in the United States. It was the same type of militarized bulldozer that US presidents from George W. Bush through to Donald Trump have delivered to Israel.
Today, as the destruction of Palestinian homes has only become more commonplace, not to mention the horror of Israel’s genocide, Senator Bernie Sanders will force a vote in the Senate to try to end this cycle of death by banning the transfer of D-9 bulldozers to Israel. We hope he will not take this stand alone.
No policy can bring back those taken from us by these actions—children and other loved ones. But the Senate now has an opportunity to honor the memories of our daughter, other Americans, and thousands of Palestinian civilians killed, and to show that their deaths, and all the destruction, will no longer be condoned and funded. We hope those elected to represent us, the American people, understand the message that voting to block these D-9 bulldozers will send. This will not be a symbolic gesture, but a concrete step toward the protection of human life.

Israel has destroyed the final bridge to Southern Lebanon. There is now no way for millions of displaced people to reach their homes. There is no means for essential aid and supplies to reach those who were unable to flee.
Another mammoth war crime, another act of barbarity.
A jewish israeli friend asked me why I stopped doing music to post so much “antisemitic” content.
I asked him why his government killed my family.
He said “bro it’s not all jews”
I said you still haven’t even sympathized with me
Like is it really that hard to grasp reality?
I’m not asking you to carry what I carry
I’m asking you to not deny that it exists
Because for you this is politics
For me this is people I can’t call anymore
Voices I’ll never hear again
Moments that ended without warning
This isn’t something I log off from
This isn’t something I debate for fun
This is something I wake up with
And go to sleep with
Every single day
You don’t have to agree with me
You don’t have to defend me
You don’t have to pick a side
Just acknowledge the pain
Just say something human
Because silence…
in moments like this
doesn’t feel neutral
It feels like distance
Like you’re standing right in front of me
hearing everything
and choosing not to feel it
And that’s what changes everything
Not the argument
Not the disagreement
But the moment you realize
someone can hear your pain clearly…
and still decide it’s not enough to respond
Safe to say we’re not friends anymore
Israel announced that they will occupy almost 10% of Lebanon, an area larger than Bahrain, New York, or Singapore.
What Israel is doing is clearly aimed at ethnic cleansing and colonization, and every world leader who's silent about this is complicit, along with their people.
The "Hezbollah" targets hit today by Israel:

If all of Israel’s aggression is because of “October 7” how do you explain their mass murder in Lebanon, atrocities in the West Bank, its attacks on Syria, its attacks in Yemen and its attacks on Iran? How do we explain them goading the US into war with Iraq?
How do we explain the tens of thousands of murders in Gaza prior to October 7?
In fact, while we are on the topic of October 7, how come we don’t talk about how hundreds of the Israelis killed that day were killed by their own people? Why are we not talking more about Netanyahu on video admitting that he funded Hamas?
There has been over 100 air strikes on Lebanon by Israel today. This is after Trump said the ceasefire includes Lebanon. Who’s in charge? Doesn’t look like the United States is.
Apocalyptic scenes in Lebanon’s capital right now.
Israel has launched 100 airstrikes on Lebanon in 10 minutes.
Striking South Lebanon, Beirut and the Bekaa Valley simultaneously.
This isn’t a ceasefire.
It’s mass bombardment of civilian areas.
