Tim Brown won his 149th career pole award during #NASCAR Modified qualifying at Bowman Gray Stadium.

Chris Fleming stepped out of the 16 modified tonight at Bowman Gray Stadium to allow Crab Smith to wheel the car (according to track PA).

The 16 had trouble in practice and hit the turn one wall.

The sun is back out, there are patches of blue sky and track drying is underway for tonight’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Oxford Plains Speedway.

Teams are currently going through pre-race technical inspection. #NWMT

Stadium Stock racer Zak Taylor now has his own trading cards.

Taylor will be autographing them and handing them out to fans. He is also the owner/operator of Lil Donuts 🍩- always a fan favorite at Bowman Gray Stadium.

Nice to see Chris Carter on the mic tonight at Bowman Gray Stadium.

Chris was in the hospital after suffering a heart attack this week.

He has been a fixture in the short track community for many years and currently makes his home as an announcer each week at the #madhouse #announcer

Qualifying for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Oxford Plains Speedway (ME) is rained out. The starting field for tonight’s race will be set by the rulebook.

Stephen Kopcik and Austin Beers will share the front row.

The radar looks promising for racing to take place later.

There is currently a slight rain delay at Oxford Plains Speedway (ME) as the #NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour teams prepare for time trials.

Jon McKennedy led the final practice over Austin Beers, Paulie Hartwig, III, Eric Goodale & Matt Hirschman.

The rain is very light and the surrounding skies are not very dark, so the festivities should resume shortly. #NWMT
