Confession and humility are not expressions of weakness as the world would have us believe. They are practices of true strength, disciplines necessary not only for peace and reconciliation, but our own growth toward Christlikeness.
Just because Christianity can be done poorly, doesn’t mean it can’t be done well.
Jesus had a simple instruction:
“Follow me.”
Not storm the castle, or make your country “great,” or secure your own rights. Just...
“Follow me.”
We can do that. 🙂
I invite you to continue practicing some form of contemplative prayer this year. Our problems begin when we fight reality, push it away, or insist that the way I “see” reality, from my own limited perspective, is the only valid reality. https://t.co/DcNAd21xg3
@Facebook all I want for election season is that ability to turn off commenting on posts on my wall. I don't want to delete them or block people. I just need to stop the conversation
I don't want a #timemachine to go to the distant past . . . I want one to go back 5 minutes so I can not ruin my 3 year old's life by rinsing his toothbrush off before he could #worstdadever 🤦🏼♂️
@KatiePonsart Honestly, do it. At Ashtabula one of the colleges students did that and it was awesome! Granted it was 40-somethings who played that game, but still #doit#preachitsister
