Aspergers used to be what we called people with ‘high functioning’ autism. We now just use the term autism and we are slowly moving away functioning labels because our levels of functioning increases and decreases at different points a cross the life span. #ActuallyAutistic
@pfitzer_jessica @Fwizzlesticks I looove that you have a specific suggestion! Something about my brain is more likely to do something if I’m given exactly what to search instead of just the thing, so thank you!
@pfitzer_jessica @Fwizzlesticks DBT causes my anxiety to worsen and my psychiatrist is obsessed with it 🥴
It causes me to become compulsive about doing all of my habits right while my ADHD means I have no habits. Brutal.
@BriggonSnow i do usually but since i don’t do it for hipster reasons, but because with arthritis the pinch motion on the bottom is easier than the peel motion of the top… nobody really knows😂
i’m aware of the irony of me saying i open it that way to say i don’t talk about it😂😂
@sabeszz @ThomasSanders as a barista, i for one would have 0 reaction😂 but idk how people with not as much of a connection with the general public would
@Myahmyah18@B9mOrion@TraumaGoggles How exactly do you know they deleted him? Plus, if V10 is green lit, he’ll be in it if the books are close enough to canon.
@ChrisLeePike @Ez_Kori@scretladyspider light petting sounds so good, ugh
i hope i have a partner one day that understands me the way you understand yours 🥰
@scretladyspider i feel like, as an ace person, i’m naturally sex positive
i don’t have awkward arousal moments and don’t experience the embarrassing hormone floods i’ve heard about
it’s easier for me to discuss sex in a positive way because i’ve never experienced the embarrassing side
@NektisNoirVA As a lesbian, I’d love m/m rep so that’s entirely wild to me. I would, truly, not want it for maybe a season or so because I don’t want to take away from the HUGE win that bumblb’s kiss was. That said, I wouldn’t be mad if it happened sooner 🤷🏻♀️
Preferably for Neptune lol
@absolutdelerium @writecaseywolfe @Avaricethegold @bellesapepper37@GHMansfield now they could’ve just been asking out of curiosity, that’s fine (though none of their business)
but if that were the case, i’d hope they’d use clarifying language instead of what was used here
@absolutdelerium @writecaseywolfe @Avaricethegold @bellesapepper37@GHMansfield questioning why someone needed a rollator, seemingly in a way that invalidates their condition/reason, absolutely borders on ableism
the way it was asked absolutely made me think they were asking “why did you need a rollator when you’re ___” (insert reason, healthy, young, etc)
