@RB_University_ What are you talking about? Before the Cubs win yesterday the Brewers had won 5 straight regular season against the Cubs. And if you're including playoffs obviously that series went the distance. Brewers have definitely been getting the better of the Cubs, but not 11 straight.
@Cubskickass100 Kenosha is also more than 60 miles from Wrigley, which is more than twice the distance form Hammond to downtown Chicago, so it isnt exactly a good comparison.
@Cubskickass100 Obviously I would hate for them to leave Wrigley, but if i knew that, for whatever reason, Wrigley wasn't a long term possibility I wouldn't feel any worse about Kenosha than I did Naperville or any other near by area.
Elly De La Cruz tapped Matt Shaw on the helmet after he was called out at second and motioned him to go back to the dugout.
De La Cruz later made an error that caused the Reds to lose.

@SteelCityBucs30 Imagine being a fan of a team thats been so bad and so irrelevant that they forgot how to trash talk. They get a couple games over 500 and think they need to start chirping and the best they can do is "Hey, you're team wins a lot and was only 500 on the road vs playoff teams."
@RyanAndBucky I understand your point, but to me, you should have to at least be an average team to get into the field. There are already teams that get in that are around .500. Making the tournament should mean something. If everyone gets in, the season is meaningless.
@Scoobie_227 I honestly don't think the Fickell hire was the mistake. The mistake was hiring Longo and trying to completely tear down what was in place and rebuild it. If they had hired a Grimes type OC and simply modernized and improved the recuirting and player development all would be good
@SamOlbur Nico leading off lengthens the lineup. Especially if he's going to continue taking his walks. I know im an old school guy, and am probably not as in sync with modern strategy, but i want my 2-5 guys to be the ones who are doing damage. Having Busch in that group just feels better
@SamOlbur Players don't adjust anymore. It's part of the problem with devaluing the RBI. Players aren't incentivised to "get the run in" so they try for slug and sometimes the team pays the price.
@barryisthedon All time choke is worse because they had the final 4 almost guaranteed and blew it. First round loss is bad, but even if you win that there's along way to go and a lot that has to go right to reach your goal.
