Nothing is handed to California JUCO players aside from an opportunity.
No scholarships, housing or free meals…
They fundraise for the shirt on their back…
This is what molds them into who they are. Guys who don’t know how to quit, don’t know how to give up. Because getting out to the next level is their only option.
I’ve personally spent a lot of time at the JUCO level and wouldn’t trade it for the world. It teaches you how to roll with the punches and make things happen with the resources you have available.

One thing I learned through my time playing ball is that the game is NEVER decided by one bad play. Play back the film and there’ll be countless mistakes made that alter the path of the game. Those of you pinning the loss on him have clearly never played a TEAM sport😴👎
my heart is heavy for Joseph Ossai. he’s 22 years old & put his whole being into winning this game but arrived at the biggest moment of his life one second too slow. if you raged, gloated or said “how could he” think if this was your son, brother or friend
