Why does the BBC keep telling us the Oxford vaccine is 70% (or so) effective? Trials showed 62% efficacy for two full doses - the protocol for which it is now licenced. The 70% figure is the average of that and the results in the half + full dose group.

I can't vote for any of the main contenders in the election. As a conscientious voter I can only think that I should spoil my ballot paper and hope enough people to do the same to convey a strong message of contempt. Am I on my own here?
