Today, en route to the highest pass on our proposed trail. @tom_r_allen found the ruins of an old church here using a 50+ year old map. There’s others scattered around in these valleys too, east of Rwanduz in #Kurdistan. As yet we know very little of them. Plenty to investigate
@MTBTalk Very versatile (weatherproof, washable, wearable) & great navigation aid (uses OS mapping), used it to wrap a chain in etc but not as a towel yet!
