According to Researcher and Research LLC, a new high share of LFP battery in EV market (in terms of MWh) was 19.2% in March 2022, as shown in figure. We expect the share of EV using LFP battery continues to reach new highs this year. (1)
In the long term, we expect LFP battery to win low-to mid-priced mkt, sodium-ion battery will be main competitor for LFP in low-priced models, solid-state battery will focus on high-priced models, while ternary battery such as NMC/NCA will stick to mid- to high-priced mkt. (3)

Compared with last year's same period, EV penetration in the top 10 sales countries grew the most in Sweden and Belgium. In terms of BEV penetration, the most significant growth was in Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, and China, as shown in the figure. (3)
