In our last general election only about 55 percent of people
eligible to vote actually voted. This is significantly less than most of the
world’s democratic countries. The right to vote is the most important
cornerstone of our democracy . . . VOTE ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH!
In the past, whenever I would learn about a terrorist attack
or shooting in some distant city, there was a tiny voice inside my head that
said: “ How terrible ……………. I’m glad to be in Pittsburgh because it is safe.”
Sadly, that voice is no longer there.
If there is a positive that we can take from the horrific shooting in Squirrel Hill on Saturday it was the swift and courageous action of our first responders. Police and EMS personnel most likely saved lives while
risking their own safety.

flag and kneel to pray.” Need I say more?
The progressive left would like to see the North Korean talks fail. And yet, they complain about a divisive government. They don’t have to like President Trump but they should be in favor of peace on the Korean Peninsula.
