@ant_ssb Street 6 is a very "on rails" feeling game even compared to most modern FGs. I think the depth of the decision trees that start to form are inspiring but I feel you. Check out chipp zanuff in gear strive or seox and lancelot in gran, both appeal more to smash sensibilities
@ant_ssb @wishes32503 @asdidown The cc is kinda unintuitive and it feels bad to get punished on hit especially if you're not super familiar but without that pillar of defense certain moves would be nigh unfuckwithable, think of what fox nair or dash attack could be like if they always gave you the full KB
@ant_ssb @wishes32503 @asdidown This is because you play the guy with the low profile teleporting dash with ungrabbable limbs, of course it seems like a good idea. BTW the depth of on hit defense is the secret sauce that sets melee apart from every other fighting game
@jen_tcg_ssb There's definitely a concept of a good game in there but a lot of it is half baked from what I played. Not just bad but UNFORGIVABLE performance make it a complete non starter though in the year 2026
