The story of Piermario Morosini is one of the saddest in football.
At just 15 years old, he lost his mother.
Two years later, at 17, he lost his father too.
Suddenly, the teenager became the one holding the family together. He took responsibility for caring for his disabled brother and sister, carrying a weight no teenager should ever have to carry.
Then another heartbreaking tragedy struck.
Not long after their father’s passing, Morosini’s disabled brother took his own l!fe.💔
Life kept testing him again and again… but he never gave up.
Through pain, responsibility, and unimaginable loss, Morosini kept pushing forward. He trained, worked, and fought his way into professional football, eventually playing for AS Livorno.
But fate had one more cruel twist.
In 2012, during a match between AS Livorno and Delfino Pescara 1936, Morosini suddenly collapsed on the pitch after suffering a cardiac arrest.
He was just 25 years old.
He wasn’t the most famous player in the world.
He didn’t win the Ballon d’Or or lift the Champions League.
But his story is bigger than trophies.
Piermario Morosini was a fighter - a man who carried unbearable pain and still chased his dream.
And in football, some heroes are remembered not for the titles they won…
but for the strength they showed when life tried to break them. 😔
Rest in peace, Piermario Morosini.💔

"We've all been there as goalkeepers... You made a couple mistakes but you as a person did nothing wrong and you were hung out to dry. If you ever what to have a chat I'm here to talk to you."
Uncle @Pschmeichel1 with a heartfelt message for Antonín Kinský 🫶
I remember when Kinsky made his debut for us against Liverpool. He got man of the match that day. Kept a clean sheet. The thing that struck me was his supreme confidence and especially with the ball at his feet
16 months later, he’s clearly a shadow of that boy. There’s a reason you don’t find many young keepers at high level football. His confidence has been ground down after over a year and a half on the bench, and his nerves got the better of him tonight.
I don’t give a fuck what the dickheads on here say about not giving him sympathy. Anyone with a heart with a real personality will feel for him. And he will recover. That same person doesn’t make those mistakes in a club that’s being run properly in a team that isn’t a nervous wreck
Congratulations to @Cobham_FC who were today crowned worthy winners of the Combined Counties Premier South.
On course to finish with a +100 & above GD. A superb achievement at any level 👏
