Anaphylaxis is a serious and often sudden allergic reaction, when the body’s immune system wrongly identifies a food or substance as a threat.

The most common symptom is chest pain, often accompanied by spreading pain, nausea or shortness of breath.

The Pharmacy First scheme makes it easier and quicker to access care without needing to wait for a GP appointment. Highly trained pharmacists can assess and treat a range of minor illnesses, offering expert advice and, where appropriate, medication to help you feel better faster.
There are a several ways you can order your repeat prescriptions from us. The easiest, most efficient way is via the NHS App, but we understand that apps aren't for everyone.
Other options include askmyGP, the physical prescription box in surgery, SystmOnline or Patient Partner.
Pre-eclampsia is the most common of the serious potential complications of pregnancy and is caused by a defect in the placenta. While it is usually mild it can be more severe. If you are pregnant, please attend all your antenatal appointments to keep a check on things.
