Thank you to @PoshLadyNumber1 who practices courtesy & compassion that all royal children should be exempt from manufactured conflict. None of the next generation of royals are responsible for the current ongoing drama of their parents. 👸🏼 🚜
@fashionistaera We need to be fair here, Archie is younger than Louis. It’s not fair to compare him to George. It’s not right to use either set of children to try to shame adults. The 2nd son does plenty to shame himself without using children.

@thomas_price56 Please don’t take this the wrong way: I don’t want any other royal to be a Diana. I enjoy each of our royal ladies for themselves. Thank you! 🥰

@PoshLadyNumber1 It’s ok. And Sloane was used for both male & females in my Scottish lineage. No worries. I’m glad you’ve got a good hubby, too! Enjoy that tea!
Disney’s Trick or Treat — released 74 years ago today, October 10, 1952.
Hey trick-or-treaters and Donald Duck devotees! Let’s rewind to that crisp autumn of ’52 when Walt Disney Productions dropped this eight-minute Technicolor Halloween short (distributed by RKO) just in time for the season. Directed by Jack Hannah (the “other duck man”) from a story by Ralph Wright, it quickly became a seasonal staple that still holds up.
On Halloween night, Huey, Dewey, and Louie (dressed as a devil, a wizard, and a ghost) knock on Uncle Donald’s door. Instead of candy, the cranky duck gives them the *trick* treatment—firecrackers in their bags and a bucket of water dumped on their heads. Enter Witch Hazel, the gleeful, slightly Shakespearean hag voiced by the legendary June Foray (in one of her early Disney turns; she later did Warner Bros.’ own Witch Hazel too). Riding her living broomstick Beelzebub, she takes pity on the boys, brews a magical potion (“eye of needle, tongue of shoe, hand of clock that points at two”), and animates everything from jack-o’-lanterns to fence-post ghosts to teach Donald a lesson about the spirit of the holiday.
Clarence Nash handles Donald and the nephews. The catchy theme “Trick or Treat for Halloween” (Mack David, Al Hoffman, Jerry Livingston) is performed by The Mellomen—including the deep voice of Thurl Ravenscroft. There’s even a simultaneous Carl Barks comic adaptation in Donald Duck #26 (with some of his darker original ideas toned down for publication).
It’s pure early-’50s Disney Halloween magic: slapstick, song, and just the right amount of spooky fun. Still streaming on Disney+ and a must-watch every October. When the ghosts and goblins ring your bell, don’t be a pushover—or your nightmares might come true.🎃🍂🍫
