@RUBICONCROSS2@CarlZha I went to a rubbish comprehensive and even I know WW2 wouldn't have been won without the Soviets. I think the point is that the poll didn't even give them as an option.
@ColinMonaghan6@CarlZha I was taught that the Russians lost the most people in WW2 and that the war wouldn't have been won without them. I'm British, and I went to a normal English comprehensive school.
@paddygalvin11 @alon_mizrahi I'm not sure British people support the genocide state. YouGov poll: Most Britons (56%) would support the UK ending the sale of arms to Israel. IPSOS poll: Among 18-34 year olds, 31% think the UK should be neutral, 5% that it should support Israel, and 31% the Palestinians.
@thomasphipps I thought the OPCW report had been tampered with, and there were OPCW whistleblowers saying the final published version wasn't what they'd written. Is that not true?
@cestriandave @ecomarxi @DavidLammy@netanyahu Then why was Netanyahu whining about his US weapons shipments being too slow? Israel get most of their weapons from the US and Germany, and most of their money from the US. This is widely known and not at all controversial.
@FranceskAlps @ecomarxi @DavidLammy@netanyahu Who makes a parody account for a special rapporteur and posts really unfunny content in poor English? This is so weird. Parody is meant to be amusing, this is just baffling.
@WhatFreedomwas@leekern13 My granddad served in Palestine at this time. He told me about the Sergeants Affair as well as this bombing. He said the Irgun were barbaric demons and far worse than the previous army heโd fought. He was British and served in WW2
@Kwin8675309@TomCottonAR The US isnโt a party to the ICC. I donโt understand what sanctions the US could impose here? Or is this man confused between the ICC and ICJ? In which case heโs got the IQ of a donut
@BlakPantherBabe@Variety I fully support what you said, and will also add there are Christians in Gaza too so it was a blanket slur on soooo many people and religions. Schumer is vile
@DLeeum@Resist_05 I mean yes, both things can be true. Hamas broke some international laws, Israel broke many more. Both should face trial. If Israel was a more mature country it may have taken a diplomatic and legal approach, but itโs a very immature country and made some bad choices x
@HilzFuld So youโre talking about colonialism from hundreds of years ago. Why is Israel like, hanging onto the 1700s in 2024? Itโs weird and backwards
@Steph_dfmx@s_florib@ShaykhSulaiman Even though I fundamentally don't share your point of view, I agree with what you say about the world hating Israel now. The situation was not handled well by your leaders. I don't think extensive killing was ever the right answer.
@s_florib@ShaykhSulaiman I think they raised global awareness of the crimes of Israel over decades and decades. There's no going back, Israel is a pariah state now
@david_mullens@implausibleblog I strongly agree, I feel very proud of our police force. I've spoken to an officer who delivers protest management training, and they genuinely do try their best to avoid anyone being hurt while still allowing people their legal right to protest. Well done Met Police
