@JDScholten@JeffShipley77@ZachLahn Is it weird to believe that the American people should be able to choose their own representatives, without a political class stepping in to manipulate the process? And to think I thought that was called democracy.
Henry Nowak died the same way a civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities who neither trusted nor cared for him, and accused of hate crimes he did not commit. His murder is as tragic as it is enraging. He should still be alive today, and he would be if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it.
Henry was far from the first to so needlessly lose his life, and I fear he won’t be the last. Each time a life like his is lost, the proper response—the only response—is righteous anger. One of the most important things the Trump administration has proven to the world is that stopping the flow of mass migration and defending national sovereignty is a matter of political will and leadership. Anything else is an excuse.
It is because we love the West that we want to preserve it. We love our civilization. We love our country. We love our children. And nobody—nobody—should ever die the way that Henry Nowak died. May God comfort those who loved him, and may God rest his soul.
One thing that the media doesn’t fully capture about @ZachLahn events is the number of children, grandchildren, pregnant women, and young families in attendance. Iowans have a birthright and that birthright isn’t some political abstraction - it’s the kids playing in the room.
Immensely bad taste and low class.
A perfect distraction for this abomination of an administration that sold out our entire country and future.
…and I’m a lifelong Republican and 3 time Trump voter.
Every Dem account and staffer is posting attacks against @ZachLahn one day before the Republican primary. Tells you everything you need to know. They should be extra worried that all they can muster is fluff.
Hey @ZachLahn, we know you haven't voted in an Iowa governor's race or lived in Iowa for years, so we wanted to make sure you knew how to cast your ballot. Hope this helps!
Over the last week, dozens of people have reached out to ask for my opinion on the Iowa governor’s race, so here it is:
In September of last year, I launched a campaign from my farm for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District. For nearly six months, I traveled the grassroots trail across Iowa. Along the way, I had the pleasure of meeting Eddie Andrews, Brad Sherman, Adam Steen, and Zach Lahn countless times.
I have heard these men share their vision all across this state. At this point, if one of them called in sick, I could probably step in and give his stump speech from memory.
I say that because I want to be very clear: my endorsement is not made out of ignorance or personal allegiance. I respect each of these candidates, I believe each of them brings something good to the table, and I continue to hope to see them coalesce into a winning alliance.
But I also believe this race has reached a point where grassroots conservatives have to be honest about the situation in front of us.
Randy Feenstra remains the establishment frontrunner. That is not because he has spent more time in the rooms with ordinary Iowans. In over six months of campaigning in the 4th District - Feenstra’s own congressional district - and after hundreds of campaign stops, I only ever met Randy Feenstra once. It was at a dinner event with the governor, on the edge of the district, on one of the first days of my campaign.
He never called me back and I have never seen him again.
I cannot speak to Feenstra’s vision for Iowa, because I do not believe he has properly shared it with Iowans.
Despite this, he remains the likely frontrunner. That is the reality of this race. If grassroots conservatives divide themselves among several good men, they will wake up with none of them. Iowans deserve a better future and that means they deserve a grassroots candidate who has both a genuine vision and the ability to bring it to the state Capitol.
That is why I am supporting @ZachLahn for Governor.
Every time I have heard him speak, Zach has presented a strong and clear vision for Iowa; he understands that Iowa should exist for Iowans. No candidate has been more consistent or more specific in their agenda. He is willing to speak plainly about hard issues like agriculture, public health, education, and the future of our families and small towns. His campaign is not built around preserving a status quo; it is built around the people who actually live here, work here, raise children here, farm here, build here, and worship here.
Most importantly, he can win. Not just in the Republican primary, but by carrying real vision into November to defeat Rob Sand. A well-meaning candidate who cannot win the general election will not change the future of our state. But a candidate who can unite grassroots conservatives, speak to ordinary Iowans, and offer a serious Iowa-first agenda can.
That candidate is Zach Lahn.
I continue to respect Eddie Andrews, Brad Sherman, and Adam Steen. I believe they are good men. But at this point in the race, the choice is clear: The grassroots cannot afford to divide. Iowa cannot afford to settle. Conservatives cannot afford to hand this race to corporate interests or the radical left.
@ZachLahn for Governor has my complete and total endorsement.
It might seem counterintuitive, but the quickest way to get a presidential endorsement in an Iowa Republican primary is to start losing at the polls. Many such cases!
One week from today is GOP Governor Primary Day here in Iowa. And while I've already endorsed @adamsteen and will be voting for him on June 2nd, it is time for me to take my activist hat off and put my analyst hat on.
This is the least energized and inspired GOP primary cycle I have ever seen in Iowa. I think turnout could be anemically and dangerously low (in terms of forecasting our prospects this fall), which also makes predicting what is going to happen next week extremely difficult. I think Republican turnout could be 25% statewide or lower. I think the following three scenarios are on the table right now, and all equally possible:
33% chance of convention: which means nobody got 35% statewide and we'd have a nominating convention soon after. I've seen several proprietary polls the last couple of weeks here, and none of them had anybody close to 35%. I think Steen is the best organized for such an outcome, but conventions are a free for all once the wheeling and dealing begins. We could also come out of a convention with a totally different candidate, but we'll cross that bridge if we come to it.
33% chance Congressman @RandyFeenstra wins outright: He has the highest name ID and that typically determines who wins primaries. But the problem for Randy is the more you know of him the less you like him. He's getting destroyed by Rob Sand in head-to-head polling, and his weakness as a perceived frontrunner is one of the main reasons turnout is slated to be so low. Because absolutely nobody is enthusiastic about voting for Feenstra, some are just willing to. This is what happens when you go out of your way to alienate our MAGA/Christian base throughout your entire campaign.
33% chance @ZachLahn wins outright: I wouldn't have entertained this even two weeks ago, but down the stretch he's got the most money (and he's obviously spending it) and his closing issue messaging is the best we've seen this entire primary cycle. Lahn is the only candidate with any real forward momentum right now, and therefore could out-perform expectations by galvanizing the 40% or so still undecided (if a critical mass can still be motivated to show up and vote).
PS: I am making one more contested primary endorsement for Tuesday, and that is @maasforiowa for State Auditor.
This is literally something that would be in Grand Theft Auto satirizing a protest.
>"We were born and raised in New York and we want everyone here to stay in New York. You don't get to come from outside and tell-"
>"ALLAHU AKBAR!"
LMAO. Can't even 💀
This is absurd. I guarantee you that every liberal student is involved in ‘partisan politics’ - the difference is that most tertiary education environments are effectively an extension of the Democratic Party.
BREAKING: Iowa State University Student Body President Colby Brandt has been IMPEACHED for being a part of an organization tied to TPUSA.
They claim he acted with "malfeasance" because he supports conservatives running for student government.
Conservatives are not welcome at @IowaStateU

What is the Democrat alternative to the tariff strategy? It’s 50% whine and 50% do absolutely nothing for another 30 years - until we can’t manufacture or export a single product in this county.
I am all for a moon colony, but it has to be (mostly) self-sustainable. Otherwise, we risk creating a welfare state on the moon as it grows. A system in which we are morally obligated to spend billions of dollars a year sending supplies to prevent the annihilation of the colony.
