Data informed > data driven. I have seen too many driven to rash decisions & unrealistic implementation timelines by data. Have also seen many driven to not evolve because the data was “pretty good”. Data informed requires the human element & empathy which are essential. #edchat

1. Love how @LibAcademy intentionally creates this environment. Every student I have ever spoken with there backs it up. It is THEIR school in partnership with staff members.

Meaningful discourse occurred during our first @RaytownSchools Citizens Advisory Committee mtg. We discussed the strategic plan, academy model, and the "Profile of a Learner." Knowing we have students, parents, staff, & community members engaged means positive outcomes for SS.
