Having seen Messi's physical condition heading into this World Cup, I'm calling it now.

Messi fans can relax. Argentina are winning it.

The difference from 2022 is that this run won't be full of heart attacks and suffering. It'll be a much smoother ride. Think Argentina vs Croatia, or Argentina vs France and the Netherlands before those games turned chaotic.

There'll obviously be nervous moments because it's the World Cup, but overall this feels like a tournament Argentina fans will enjoy more than endure.

As for Ronaldo, I expect the same World Cup story we've seen throughout his career: shit.
