My sea glass collection started on my lockdown walks along the Northumberland coast & inspired me to give these unique beautiful gifts of glass a new life.
We are shocked and desperately saddened to learn that the famous Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian's Wall has been felled overnight, in what appears to be an act of vandalism.
We know just how much this iconic tree is loved locally, nationally and by everyone who has visited.
We are working with our partners to understand what has happened and what can be done.
The incident has also been reported to the police.
A little bit vintage. Appropriate, as the sea glass is from Shippersea Bay. Check out this piece which tells you about the area and yes, I defended the cliff. Not for the faints hearted and I’m not sure I could do it again. I’d rather walk the beach way which is mentioned.
So nice to be back after a very unhappy or desperate person, or maybe both, stole my phone whilst I was on my belated honey. The incident stole my happiness for about 30 mins and then I let it go and had a glass of champagne #cotedazur
