Suggestion:
There are Muslim scholars and clerics who are talking about world domination, and extolling the beating of wives
The old-fashioned British people are not very keen on this. I'm talking about the far centre...
So if the Muslim leaders could tone it down a bit, things might improve
It's officially the hottest June day ever.
We know who is to blame. Fossil fuel firms. The billionaire media. Weak politicians.
We know what we must do. Rapid decarbonisation & adaptation for a healthier, wealthier country safe for future generations.
@freespirited_p First of all CIS … another made up terms by the liberals. Two , you are deluded … unless you are talking about all the illegals, then your right
There is a foreigners family next to me who have a lovely social house , but they have 3 BWM on the drive , one a 26 plate large SUV ……
how !!!!!! @RupertLowe10
Restore Britain’s five step plan to end the welfare scam.
Number one.
No benefits for foreigners. Saves billions and billions every year. If a Somalian family is living on benefits in social housing funded by the British taxpayer, I wish them well. In Somalia. No discussion needed. Huge savings to be had.
Second.
The ballooning welfare bill is not solely down to foreign nationals, far from it. There are a huge number of British people taking the mick. The system is there for the taking, and they are doing exactly that. Claiming some disability or another, when there is evidently nothing wrong.
Face-to-face assessments are vital, regular and vigorous.
- Dedicated welfare fraud investigation units.
- Proper data-sharing between HMRC, DWP and local authorities.
- Automatic recovery of fraudulent claims from future earnings.
And actually through doing this, we can give proper support to those British men and women who genuinely need it. A fair, robust and compassionate approach.
Third.
A life on benefits for a healthy individual is NOT acceptable. If you can work, you must work. A few months to find a desired job is reasonable, but after that - if you want your benefit money, you will be put to work.
That is Restore Britain’s position.
Litter picking, street cleaning, gardening, scraping chewing gum off the pavement. Whatever. If it needs doing and you want the money, you’re doing it.
Random drug tests for those on benefits - if you’re getting high, the benefits stop.
Tough love.
Next.
Reintroduce the two child cap. Hardworking British parents shouldn’t have to subsidise indolence.
If you want more children, get a job.
Finally.
Tax cuts.
Raise the thresholds. Make it so that going back to work is financially rewarding. Obviously. Reward hard work, and people will do more of it. If people feel like going into work is actually worth it, they will do it. It must never pay to sit on benefits.
More training, more apprenticeships. A skilled and active workforce. Contributing, not taking. That is what we need.
A Restore Britain Government will ensure no household receives more in out-of-work benefits than the equivalent working family earns after tax.
The welfare system should protect those who cannot work, support those who fall on hard times, and help people back into employment as quickly as possible.
It should never be more attractive than work.
Restore Britain will reward contribution and ambition, not indolence and entitlement.
End the welfare scam, slash the bill, crush inflation.
Tonight I voted against Labour’s Carbon Budget Order.
It’s a suicide note for British industry. Good jobs destroyed to meet arbitrary net zero targets.
Reform UK will deliver cheap and abundant energy and save the British economy.
No no, the vile and abusive behaviour is coming from the Labour government towards its hard working tax paying citizens. @KemiBadenoch hit a nerve didn’t she because she was spot on. Kemi is more than fit to be our Leader and we are proud of her.
What was the 16 year old doing alone with her !
Not responsible if trying to scare a 8 year old with knife - who does that
Then runs away
So now you cbs pretend to be “fencing “ stab someone , and get away with it!
🚨Labour and Lib Dem MPs just voted to INCREASE the cost of energy, food, shipping, housing, heating and holidays by voting for Ed Miliband’s new Net Zero target.
One of the reasons I asked to stay in this brief was my time in the Department and seeing how badly we were making decisions about climate and energy.
There’s simply no scrutiny or proper analysis of what these targets are doing to jobs, the cost of living or to the competitiveness of our industry.
The Minister bringing it forward refused to take a single intervention. She did not answer a single question. I’m sorry, but that is simply not good enough.
MP after MP cited bogus figures or praised the Climate Change Committee’s analysis without being even slightly troubled that their cost of offshore wind was wrong by a factor of three.
Get the cost of energy wrong and all your other assumptions about the cost of living and the economy will be wrong too.
I am proud Kemi Badenoch and I have changed our party’s position. We are the only party who have said we should measure the offshoring of emissions.
We are the only party who have a plan to make electricity cheaper without costing the taxpayer a penny. We are the only party with a fully costed plan to axe the Carbon Tax which is replacing clean British industry with dirtier foreign imports.
This debate shows why Parliament is not working. Poor analysis let off the hook by poor scrutiny.
So-called impact assessments which are written to be as impenetrable as possible, and which MPs show no interest in reading or questioning.
We need fewer virtue signalling MPs and many more who can read modelling assumptions.
We are in a very dark place. The football World Cup is on & this council has spent tax payers money going to court to make it illegal to fly Our flag on Our streets.

There is only one basis on which the country should accept another change of PM: a commitment to honour the 2019 Manifesto.
If the candidates won’t give it, we must demand a #GeneralElectionNow.
