Got a homophobic death threat from a bloke downstairs so we put up a progress flag. The lady opposite came screaming about the 'ugly' flag to us, the landlady and the building management until we were forced to take it down.
So we had a protest, picnic and parade full of joy.

@NewLondonWalks @hatts49@pixel8foto I've answered how you asked of Palestine,
And how it might connect with Shakespeare's lines.
Though since your tram stop haranguing I’ve slept,
Be sure, your friend and plots I do not know.
@NewLondonWalks @hatts49@pixel8foto My “problem” was your separation of stories from the real world they’re situated in - either feigned or, as evidenced, hypocritical. x x x
@NewLondonWalks @pixel8foto What does Palestine have to do with a 'Underground Manchester' historical walking tour?
Because we don't live in a vacuum and context isn't a myth -
Stories on both streets and stages are unavoidably made and 'read' in their contemporary contexts

I knew there was something interesting in it, but been overwhelmed by the response...
Any venues at market for Queer autobiographical storytelling with pontins-style cabaret turns, performed by me and a Buddha from B&M bargains?
Another fantastic play from @thesecondshelf: WITH LOVE, MR GAY performed tonight to a sold-out @QueerLitUK as part of the @GMFringe Festival. It is wonderful to see such good writing (and get a mention!)
Just back from seeing ‘With Love, Mr Gay’, written and performed by the incredibly talented @thesecondshelf and co-starting the superb @GBury_17. Part of the @GMFringe held at @QueerLitUK. Funny, thought provoking and surprisingly musical. Class entertainment - a top night!🏳️🌈
Fifteen years. Five prime ministers, seven chancellors, eight foreign secretaries, twelve culture secretaries and sixteen housing ministers.
A thread, for #RantyTuesday.

Re: importance/ 'decline' of local journalism - special mention should be given to @ManchesterMill who this week have done the most dangerous and engaging work, that is intensely local in focus.
🚨 OK, I need your help. Andy Burnham's advisor Sacha Lord is threatening to sue @ManchesterMill.
So we're publishing the document at the heart of the story - and asking for your help with a 'community fact-check'.
My editor's note. Pls share.
