@Nicole_Barlow1 The tragedy is not that we didn’t have a war, but that we saw the end of apartheid as an opportunity for black people to live like WP. We saw success and freedom as joining the lives of WP, not creating a new reality.
@Nicole_Barlow1 It should still disturb us that black women are the most poverty stricken among us. It should still move us that townships continue to exist as pools of labour for the upper class (of whom some of them are black, of course).
