@adamgries@AlexHormozi Even if we all lived 200 healthy years, still a fraction of time in a universe so generous with things to do and explore :) so let’s squeeze a bigger pie!
@nickkokonas Classic over socialism manangement. Claim you found the problem, have others solve it (either through taxes or aid), claim you achieved something until you burn through that…
Why no one talks about actual bang for the buck of the taxes is what infuriates me…
@bdomenech Without the US highway system and DARPA kickstarting the Internet (both funded and built by the government) there would be no Amazon. Bezos is brilliant and he built his company on the infrastructures provided by tax payer projects. Win win.
@davidhamptonvh@CASmithNYC @DGPredict_ If the metric is “great stats whether team won or lost” you’re right.
If the metric is “made the plays that mattered most time and time again to help his team win” - under rated.
Clutch numbers say Jeter over almost any A list metric player when game is on line.
@raashah@Wurmserscribit@EinatWilf I never saw those quotes, happy to look. Regardless entire Israel military and intelligence agencies said on Oct 6th that Hamas movements were also just a drill. Saying it and even believing it doesn’t make it true.
Nasser expulsion of UN and closure of straits are suspicious.
@US_of_Z@EliseStefanik@TroyMOlson@MikeTannousis Family gets a 30 year mortgage on a $400k home. By 2026 they don’t even fully own the house yet but it’s worth well over a million and kids will have to sell it to cover ridiculous Mamdani tax. 30 years of wealth generation wiped out.
@levelsio Or a lot less billion dollar companies and lots of tiny teams doing tens of millions delivering value and not fucking around with coding practices
@namyakhann The question is - is taste defensible? Can someone use AI to copy what you built with taste? Will it be “good enough” to each a chunk of your market?
See how successful copy-cat TikToks can be some times.
These thoughts keep me up :)
@thisisgrantlee Overall very true but the time factor is significant. A startup might not have years of runway to compound.
A person might not want $1b at 90 if it means almost no money at 50 (when he can more easily enjoy even much smaller sums).
