@BBCWatchdog they can’t even tell me why my account has been deactivated and seemingly no recourse for complaint. Have even emailed @tim_cook and @apple media relations team but no response. This arbitrary action doesn’t seem to comply with my consumer rights
@BBCWatchdog can you help me get some traction with @apple? They have disabled my Apple account and are seemingly ignoring my request to unlock despite multiple requests. @applesupport say I have to set up a new Apple account but will lose access to £1000s of movies and music
@apple@applesupport please could you DM me and explain why my account still remains deactivated after a week. I’ve called you numerous times and even been to the Genius Bar. It’s affecting everything as now apps are becoming unusable as they need updating

@AppleSupport you have deactivated my Apple account twice in a week and it’s now been 3 days since I requested reactivation. I’ve done nothing wrong other than put my password in wrong once ahead of the first deactivation a week ago.
@Apple@AppleSupport my account has been disabled now since Wednesday and nothing is happening when I request access (been requesting is in the daily). Will have no choice but to go to Tim Cook and the Office of Fair Trading and @financialombuds if you can’t rectify it asap

Plus subscribers to iTunes Match, iCloud storage and Apple TV are still being merrily charged for but I can’t access. This seems bordering on illegal to charge me for things I can’t access and not tell me why my account has been deactivated
I haven’t seen or reported any fraudulent activity. My Apple account links to all my Apple TV and iTunes purchases which I now can’t access and if I have to set up a brand new ID I will lose £100s of purchases made over 20 years.
