Overcrowded trails are absolutely a problem, but this is still disappointing. It severely reduces visitation options and flexibility for both local day hikers and vacationers.

Mount Rainier is one of my favorite places. Bummer to see it suddenly become more difficult to access.

I never really got into Elder Scrolls or Fallout, so I wasn't sure Starfield would be my jam. But man, playing the role of an intrepid space explorer is an absolute blast.

Starfield has let me live out my dream of running around a tropical moon of Tau Ceti while hunting giant crickets with an M1911 pistol. A dream I didn't realize I had until the opportunity presented itself, but still.

I'm holding on most of my Ahsoka thoughts until we get deeper into the series, but I will say that recent Star Wars shows have depicted the New Republic as so comically inept and impotent that it's making me want to actively root for the bad guys.
