1/2. This one hits hard. Chris was genuinely just one of the best, a universally loved person and talented aviator. Lily-Mae was someone I knew through social media, a true inspiration to many, and she gave me a different perspective on women in the military.
It is with great sadness that we can confirm the deaths of Lieutenant Commander Chris Gayson and Lieutenant Lily-Mae Fisher of 846 Naval Air Squadron, and Petty Officer Owen Green of 845 Naval Air Squadron, who died in Devon during routine training activity on 3 June.

When I look up at that rocket and the four astronauts sitting on top of it, I see America at its very best. Our country is deeply divided and we have real challenges. But I'd encourage everyone to watch this launch today and be proud of our country and what we're capable of when we work together.
