Overall I would say deferring 80% of the time is the best choice in tight matches. Having more data to make your choice later in the match is an advantage.

@johnnidijulius Very true, especially considering that 1) you may not even get out, 2) you don’t know how it will take you to get out, may give up riding time in the process, and have less time to work for a TD, and 3) back to your OG point, you still need a TD either way. Neutral all day 🤼‍♂️
