@NeuroRebel As someone diagnosed late, as well as societally unaccepted in a lot of other ways, I KNOW the mental&physical stress and pain hiding and masking creates. That's all ABA is. It doesn't change the person, it just teaches them to mask effectively enough to be widely accepted.
