Played #eFootball for the first time since launch, and it’s actually… not bad?

Gameplay requires concentration and forethought, unlike EA FC. Licenced J-League also has big potential (at least for me).

But it’s held back by Konami’s refusal to add any meaningful offline modes.

Need to see more on Friday before I’m convinced, but the trailer for the IO Interactive 007 game looked more Bond than most recent Bond films. If it can back up the cinematics with gameplay as solid as Hitman’s, I’m in.

The user of “players” as a metric, rather than sales of a game, is such a deceitful trend. It means absolutely nothing.

It’s always sad to see somebody ask a question on Reddit that they *must* already know the answer to, just because they need the attention.

Just read an article that posited that the success of indie games risked a dangerous “deprofessionalisation” of the video games industry.

All the things they argued were bad basically just sounded like removing the bloat that makes games expensive and bland. 🤔
