I was able to harvest a buck and a doe over 3 days of hunting in Illinois. They yielded 75lbs of pure, de-boned meat. I kept the backstraps for grilling and did 50/50 ground burger and sausage with the rest.

Prepare for those situations in the field where you get stuck at full draw while waiting for a shot opportunity. Set a timer and hold at full draw for a minute or more while on the range.

What a monster! Erin Johnson shot this 202", 19-point giant in Northeast Missouri with her @MissionArchery MXB Dagger. After watching him work a rub line for 45-minutes, the buck presented a broadside shot at 20 yards.
