Star Wars: The Last Jedi - shot 2700 [alternative frame]

[Roger Sweet @TheSweetRoger]

@SWshotbyshot man he really went and picked that cape back up just to aura farm some more

[Roger Sweet @TheSweetRoger]

@SWshotbyshot is this shot out of order or is it just me??

[Roger Sweet @TheSweetRoger]

@robby_weidemann I love this shot! Feels like a painting, like so much of this final act.

[Roger Sweet @TheSweetRoger]

@NickIsAMetsFan Manaea should be higher, that dude has some fire in him

[de la tevin 🌼 @TevvyWevvyy]

And if I say this singular shot captures George Lucas’s entire ethos of the franchise better than anything that has come out before or since??

[Roger Sweet @TheSweetRoger]

@CS11__ who's been your favorite/most interesting character to watch so far?

[‏ً @justjargons]

I think the guy flipping burgers at McDonald’s should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That’s kind of the whole point of having a job and I can’t believe this is considered a radical position for me to take.

[Roger Sweet @TheSweetRoger]

@SWshotbyshot absolute aura, this whole scene

[Roger Sweet @TheSweetRoger]

@SWshotbyshot Poe becoming a leader before our eyes

this is why we still say ACAB

🚨 A family opened their back door to let their dog out... and a cop they didn't know was there KILLED her in five seconds.

Then he pointed his gun at her OWNER.

Her name was Tesla. A 3-year-old black Lab from Rochester, New York.

October 19th, 2018. Police were chasing two suspects through backyards.

They already had them in CUFFS. It was OVER.

But Officer Javier Algarin hopped the Dempsey family's fence AGAIN.

No warrant. No knock. Nobody inside even knew he was there.

Three seconds later, Charles Dempsey opened the back door.

Tesla ran off her OWN porch into her OWN backyard.

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Hey!"

BANG. BANG.

Five seconds. She was DEAD.

Then he turned the gun on Charles.

"LEAVE MY PROPERTY!" Charles screamed.

"Get back!" the officer yelled.

Years later, under oath:

Could this have been avoided if you'd just knocked and asked permission?

His answer: "Yes."

The family fought for seven years.

A federal jury found him PERSONALLY liable. $125,000.

Rochester's training? "DELIBERATE INDIFFERENCE."

At least 6 dogs killed by that department from 2017 to 2019.

And that officer?

He's STILL on the job.

In 5 days it'll be EIGHT YEARS since Tesla died in her own yard.

HOW IS HE STILL WEARING A BADGE?!!!!!!
