We want to be able to give the students of Alma college a safe environment to celebrate Halloween instead of unsafe options like breaking school guidelines and leaving campus. Hope this clarifies any concerns.

[Sigma Chi: Theta Nu @theta_nu]

We have seen the concerns that some students have had about the Halloween party being hosted by ACUB and Sigma Chi. To clarify this party was approved and encouraged by @almacollege and all safety protocols possible will be implemented during this event.

We applaud those organizations who have already done so.

At its core Sigma Chi is an organization built on the pursuit of equality. To all those fighting against racial injustice, Sigma Chi is with you all the way.

[Sigma Chi: Theta Nu @theta_nu]

The brothers of Sigma Chi were deeply saddened by the tragic and unjust death of George Floyd. These types of tragedies have happened for too long in America. Like many Americans, we wondered what we could do to influence change.

[Sigma Chi: Theta Nu @theta_nu]

We have decided to donate $240 to the Black Youth Project, an organization dedicated to providing young African Americans with the same opportunities that so many of us take for granted. We hope this action causes other Greek organizations, at Alma and elsewhere, to follow suit.
