Trying to look fresh for his first date? Definitely won't wear them in when you don't get up to pay!! #cheapskate #birkenstock

[Awkward Conversation @thetablenext2u]

The guy's Birkenstock sandals have plenty of tread on them. Ergo, either trying to be hipster (likely), or hasn't done much walking in them!

"I'll get the next one!" The guy says... #nochance #firstdate he'll be out of the country in 48 hrs (we reckon). #backpackdefinitelypacked

Everyone knows you at least whip your wallet out (even if it is empty) to feign grabbing a #blueswimmer (tenner) to pay!

Definitely German. Crunch time - coffee order. Guy and girl both decide they want a skim cap. Guy doesn't even do the wallet dance! #rough

There is a date going on next to us. Guy has foreign accent - young, must be on exchange or here on holiday... Decidedly German...
