If you can explain the Gospel to your neighbor but can't offer a compelling vision for why they should do more than tolerate Christ's Bride, you're inviting them into faith w/o the ordinary means of grace needed to sustain it.

That isn't good news. It's sanctified individualism.

Friends, I NEVER do this, but I’d love to ask for your prayers and connections with anyone in Boulder County, CO who might be able to help @thetablepca…

2 weeks ago, we learned that the building we’ve been meeting in since pandemic restrictions ended (OCT 2021) was recently sold. The new owners (a veterinarian clinic) are planning to start construction in about 90 days, which means we need to find a new home for weekly worship no later than August 4th.

We weren’t caught totally flat-footed and we’re not leaving any stone unturned, but the options are fewer and SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than they were pre-pandemic. And as a church plant, we’re no strangers to moving… However, this is the first time we’ve had to for reasons other than outgrowing our space AND the first time we’ve had less than 6 months to plan for it. I’m confident God will provide… and it’s a lot.

Please pray for our congregation’s encouragement, that we would be eager and excited to see how Jesus will use this, and that He would surprise us with his generosity. If you know anyone who owns property in Boulder County that could (un)comfortably accommodate worship services + 200 chairs + 4-5 medium-sized classes for children’s ministry on Sunday mornings, please let me know!
