I have a number of relatives in the US, and I can tell you that it is nearly impossible for a student to make that type of money working the jobs you have mentioned. Just look up the hourly rates for those jobs. Even if he was to work 60 hrs/week, he can't make $7,000/month. He may be involved in some shady activities.
