Well, the new Siri is amazing. The only thing I wish is that for text input Siri, you double tapped the bottom of the screen like the previous AI. It just seems really tedious, definitely on a big phone to pull down from the notch.
Anyone else agree?
@Maisomage I think the mini might be new Siri ready, but due to not having a screen, just have a spec bump and new colors as it’s been rumored for a while and for q1 launch. May be wrong. But AirPods Max 2 makes me think they will.
@Cartidise I’m an Apple fan boy till the end, and I’ll defend this same way I’d defend 60htz. No one is really using their phone from an angle. And also as a 1st new feature, surely it will get better over time. But 0 effect on 99% of users

@mweinbach They now let you update to a beta in the setup, so you no longer have to update and restart. I think added last year. But is a lot easier than it used to be
Can we get rid of public beta, and go back to the time you had to register your iPhones UDID to download a beta…
Even iOS 7 changes weren’t this aggressive.
This video is a great watch for anyone concerned about readability issues with iOS 26. It covers a lot & shows apples though and approach to all issues.
