@thekapman Agree 100%. They’ve peaked. There isn’t a player on the team that should be regarded as untouchable other than Baez. The pitching staff is routinely getting ROCKED. Bryant is the best garbage time player since Sammy Sosa. Fed up with the whole lot of them...

@ESPNChiCubs Terrible. Every even borderline fan knew the bullpen sucked, all winter long. Management did NOTHING about it. The PECOTA projections might have actually been TOO GENEROUS.

@philgrogers It’s absolutely asinine that they aren’t pursuing Kimbrel. This young core of position players won’t be there forever. The rotation is DEEP. Yet, they’re worried about piecing together a bullpen? It’s offensive that the Ricketts’ say there is no money.

@mj_ernst @philgrogers Totally agree with being unlucky with the injuries. I just feel incredibly fortunate to win 95 games, considering everything that happened. That is not the norm. If similar circumstances occur in 2019,expecting 95 wins, again, is unrealistic if improvements don’t occur.
